Jaw Crushers

Powerscreen jaw crushers are designed to exceed the primary crushing needs of customers in the mining, quarrying, and recycling industries. These crushers are amongst the most advanced and reliable in the market and are highly productive in a variety of applications. Jaw crushers are typically used as primary crushers because they can take large and variable sized feed material, so the original feed won’t have to be blasted down to a fine size. Powerscreen jaws are designed to be significantly more reliable and have lower wear rates, maximizing production and minimizing wear parts.

Impact Crushers

Impact crushers (also known as impactors or horizontal shaft impactors) can be used in primary, secondary, or tertiary applications. They use inertia of the blowbars fitted to the rotor to fracture the material, resulting in a high reduction ratio. Impactors are often used as a cost-effective alternative to jaw and cone combination plants as they have a good level of reduction and product shaping for many applications. Powerscreen impact crushers are designed to excel as primary impactors, taking large feed material and reducing it down to a sellable product. They’re also extremely suitable for secondary applications where material is fed by a primary crusher and reduced to a finer product. Powerscreen’s impactor range is ideal for shaping applications including making chips, sand, concrete manufacture, and glass recycling. The range includes both horizontal and vertical impact crushers.

Cone Crushers

Cone crushers are highly effective at using compression to crush material into a consistent product. For this reason, cone crushers are the most used crushing plant for secondary and tertiary crushing stages in both the aggregate and recycling industries. When used correctly, cones will have a far lower operating cost than an impactor and produce less fines. The Powerscreen range of mobile cone crushers excel in a variety of applications from hard and abrasive rock to softer and more friable rock. The range uses advanced Automax® crusher technology to provide high volumes of excellently shaped product.
