Denis Grant founded Powerscreen of Florida Inc. in Lakeland, Florida, in 1984 pioneering the use of mobile screening plants and conveyors that forever transformed the mining, quarrying, and recycling landscape in the region.
1989
Denis expanded operations into Conley, GA, further extending our reach and providing mobile screening and conveying solutions to the Georgia Region.
1999
Powerscreen of Florida became the official dealer for Terex Pegson, a leader in mobile crushers, further enhancing our ability to provide top-tier equipment to the industry.
2003
Powerscreen of Florida started offering tracked mobile crushing and screening plants, bringing a new level of mobility and efficiency to the region’s aggregate market
2010
Founded Powerscreen Caribbean and Powerscreen Central America in the Dominican Republic and Panama. Expanding our coverage to the entire Caribbean, Central America, and parts of South America
2012
Introduced the Komptech line of shredders, star screens, and more, complementing our extensive crushing and screening inventory.
2016
Following the success of the Komptech line in the forestry industry, Powerscreen of Florida became the authorized dealer for Terex CBI, a leader in Horizontal Grinders.
2018
Added the Terex Evoquip line, a brand renowned for its best-in-class compact machines, unlocking a whole new demographic and expanding our ability to serve a broader range of customers.
2022
Powerscreen of Florida transitioned to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), empowering our dedicated team by giving them an ownership stake in the company, further strengthening our commitment to long-term success and growth.
2024
Added the Terex Greentec Line, a brand that designs and manufactures vegetation and tree care solutions. Giving us full access to their product offering including tree care handleers, spider lifts, and tracked mulchers.
2025
Introduced Magna, a brand that is deigned to meet the demands of large-scale operations in the quarrying, mining, construction, and recycling industries. Further enhancing our ability to provide solutions for customers that require maximum throughput.
